Analysis and budgeting
RIGHT ON TARGET
The best start to any project, from the simplest to the most complex, is always a good, personal discussion.
After being introduced to each other, we will have a better understanding of your needs, we will know your story and will have evaluated with you the goals to attain with the project.
We are particularly concerned about documenting our work as much as possible: all that will be discussed will be also summarized in documents and reports that, after being shared, allow us to create the best proposal for your defined goals and your available budget.
2
Mockup
GIVING SHAPE TO IDEAS
The functional mockup is a graphical tool with which we can show a faithful reproduction of the project's final result before the actual development begins.
It brings together the contributions and the various skills of the whole team, from the technical analysis of your idea, to the design experiments to make it workable and functional (the famous User Experience or UX), to the creativity that gives it its good looks.
The mockup will be made available to you: this is always a very exciting moment for everyone, because it allows you to try out a copy of the project very close to the final result and interesting discussions always come up from it.
Depending on the project, we can generate a mockup of some sections of the project only or cover all of its features. In some situations it can also be kept after the completion of the project as a tutorial for the users of the finished product or as a guide for the testing team.

Creativity
GOING BEYOND THE FORM
For Mindgear being creative is something deeper than to design the colors and beautiful icons of our products: it is an approach we apply to all the phases of a project, from the analysis of your requirements to the development process.
This is often apparent in the very functionality of the application, in the innovative approach to problems to be solved, in the rationalization of the elements needed for the user interface.
Very often the right intuition can only be reached by knowing the context and that is why, among all our skills, we put our experience first.
4
Development
EVERYTHING WORKING AS INTENDED
This is when the hard work begins.
And here is where we give our best.
The quality of the code we produce and the operational capabilities are matched only by the organization with which we work and by the tools that assure us the absolute control of the development activity: from the live documentation of the project (and we like to document much in our projects) to the tracking of even the smallest development activities, to the Continuous Integration systems we use.
Skills acquired over the years give us the confidence needed to employ different development technologies and methodologies and the ability to operate on a wide range of platforms, be they proprietary or open source.
5
Testing and go-live
TO MEET AND EXCEED EXPECTATIONS
At the end of development stage, Mindgear will start a Quality Assurance session organized in different phases and integrated with the same tools we use to manage our development activities. This ensures that any defect found is regularly included in the team's next scheduled activities.
You will be given visibility on the progress of this stage and the opportunity to participate if you want, once the initial phase is over.
After your approval and sign-off, we will plan together how to best put the project in production, giving proper care and attention to each of the many activities that come with this delicate phase of the project.
6
Promotion
CHOOSE PARTNERS, NOT VENDORS
If the project is public facing, its deployment is only a milestone and not its end: only if properly supported by search engines and social networks you can reach and exceed the goals you set for the project.
Mindgear can train your team in using the tools available today for this purposes, or it can operate for you if you do not want to deal directly with these tasks.
We can also provide you with detailed and scheduled reports and analyses, so you can more easily see the impact each promotional activity had and decide how to adapt your strategy to become even more effective.
